Music • Storytelling • Creative Workshops
Hola! My name is Ximena. I’m a Chilean-Australian singer, songwriter and creative facilitator based in Melbourne, Naarm.
I invite you to explore my work.
Projects
Spaniglota is an interactive bilingual Spanish-English music and storytelling experience for children, families, schools, and libraries in Melbourne. Through original songs, storytelling, movement, and participation, I create joyful experiences that encourage language learning, creativity, cultural connection, and play.
My songwriting workshops help participants develop creativity, self-expression, confidence, and collaborative skills through structured songwriting exercises, lyric craft, and improvisation. Open to youth and adults of all experience levels.
My performances blend original songs and reimagined covers, drawing inspiration from migration, identity, personal growth, and human connection. Over the years, I’ve played on many stages and in front of varied audiences, tailoring each set to craft intimate, memorable experiences.
Music has shaped my life for more than twenty years.
My creative path has taken many forms — from solo performance and songwriting to community arts, bilingual projects and music education. Through each experience, I’ve remained passionate about creating meaningful connections through sound, storytelling and participation.
Curiosity continues to guide my work, whether I’m writing a simple melody for children or developing more experimental creative projects.
